Secure Customer Loyalty
1. Establish Value—Price as a Single Service
Include a stand-alone thermasoft treatment on your menu at full price (we recommend $20 for a hand treatment, $24 for a feet treatment, and $40 for hands and feet).
Then, set the price to for an add-on thermasoft treatment at half the stand alone price ($10 for hands, $12 for feet, $20 for both).
2. Upgrade Experience and Secure Loyalty
Include a thermasoft treatment as a complimentary add-on to your high-ticket services, or with every service. When customers see you’re giving them more than the minimum, they become loyal clients. TIP: Raise the prices on services with complimentary thermasoft by $3 or $4 to cover costs.
3. Now…UPSELL Your Customer!
Give your customer the complimentary treatment, and mention the single service value is normally $20 for hands and $24 for feet. Then, upsell the opposite hands/feet treatment at the add-on price.
Before you start selling
- Spread the word!
Thermasoft is a brand new product unlike anything else out there, so you’ll need to spread the word to your customers. If you or your salon sends out a newsletter or fliers, put an announcement in it. Get a thermasoft Point of Purchase Kit for the front counter. Send an e-mail to your best clients. - Take Advantage of free downloads material.
Thermasoft.com has a professional download center where you can get marketing pieces to use or images to create your own, so take advantage! - Build excitement.
Your receptionist can help talk up thermasoft to clients, so be sure to show them the system or give them a treatment—if they’re excited about it, your clients will be too.
The First 4-6 weeks
- Trial Promo:
Offer a special trial promotion to get people trying thermasoft. A luxury once experienced becomes a necessity—once they’ve felt it, they’ll want it again. - Set your trial price at 50% of an add-on service. For example, if your add-on price is $15, charge $7.50 during your promo.
Long Term Success: Wrap It In!
- Wrap Into Existing Services:
By including thermasoft in packages or existing services, you let your customers get thermasoft in one easy purchase. Psychologically, it's easier for people to purchase a single package than several individual pieces, even if they come out the same! - Including thermasoft in your regular services makes thermasoft feel more like a normal or required step rather than an indulgence, making customers more likely to purchase it regularly.
